WOMEN OF THE CHURCH
"12-2-1
Our own Gloria Prock was the speaker at the February first meeting. Gloria is a rosemaler, and rosemaling is a type of Norwegian folk art painted on prepared wood objects using oil paints and special brushes. She displayed many rosemaled plates and other items, all of which were beautiful. This type art varies with the different regions in Norway. Gloria's rosemaling was influenced mostly by the Telemark area. We are blessed to have such talent right here in our own church community.
This month WELC/A is collecting wrapped bath-sized soap for LRW. Please place your donations in the container located by the downstairs steps.

CHURCH LIBRARY
Located in a cozy corner of our gathering area you will find quite a few shelves of books, a self-help check-out system and an opportunity to donate funds and/or books of your own that need new readers. Browse around a bit. There are novels, children's books, self-help books, Bible study helps, reference books, and much much more. Comfy chairs are there for those who wish to ponder a bit. Many thanks to Chris Bank for serving as our library coordinator.
